buying some wedges off ebay and I currently have a hand me down wedge that someone cut an inch of the shaft off. I like it much better than my other wedges, if i cut the shaft on the wedges i am buying will that throw off everything? alignment, loft, etc? if so, where should i go to have that fixed?

It will definitely knock the swing weight off about 3-4 points. Will also be a little flatter lie, loft is not affected.

Before you start sawing, have someone check the specs of your favorite wedge and have them fit the new ones to match. They may not need to cut on it.
