shite really isn't moving very fast.
Moist air is basically running up into that outflow boundary as drawn and it's been a focus for storms. Looking at the SPC's stuff, moisture convergence at the surface is lining up south of the current line. Might finally be ready to start building south more toward Dallas area.

This stuff needs to move east before the clouds to my south meet the clouds to my north.
