might be a dumb question but could it had been bought and resold between the time the carfax report and time your wife bought it? Seems like a long time for a car to sit on a car dealership lot. A lot of the time they will send them to auction before then.

Do you have a copy of the "Clean Carfax report given to you when you bought the vehicle? If so I would contact Carfax, explain the situation, seek an explanation and a date when the March 18 accident was added to that vehicle report. If it was added prior to your purchase go see the dealership. If they will not help, get a lawyer. Sounds like fraud. Also a crime.
If you didn't get and keep a copy of the November report shame on you.
