I thought the author was bashing a “white cis woman” (aka a normal woman) for wanting to go back to a small town, or, if the woman were a liberal, hoping she could spread her nutty ideas. Either way, writing cis was moronic. It just means a woman, born a woman and not trying to be a man. Jeez, ppl are stupid (this author).
