I agree with this, although if Wickersham and Sunseri can continue to build on what they did this weekend and get hot to end the year. LSU will be in great shape. Wickersham overall has been fine and for a true freshmen has been great. Sunseri still is dealing with some bruising to her wrist but is getting healthier. Both looked great this weekend.

The key factor moving forward is Gorsuch. She has to get it together by the end of the year if LSU wants to make a run, specifically to compete in the CWS.

Kilponen will likely see a couple more starts to end the year and will only be used in relief this post season for a change of pace in the circle.


I believe the hitting is good enough to carry LSU to Oklahoma City. How far they move in that depends on what pitching shows up. The talent and potential is there. Hopefully they can get some consistency to end the year. All that matters is they are playing their best ball when it counts, and torina has been special with making that happen at the end of every year.
