Neither are you as you don't understand that sign on bonus' aren't considered to be part of your annual comp.

Did you ask about annual bonus' when you took the job?

I do understand that. I just don't understand how my employer thinks they can pay me less this year than the previous one and not expect me to feel slighted. No, I don't think I did.
