Feels like you missed the point. He was a liberal; he also became a monster, and the narrative judges him harshly for it.

"The Comedian," at almost an hour, was way too long. It repeated the same thing over and over. At 30 minutes this could have been much more enjoyable.

"Nightmare at 30,000 Feet", an update of the classic episode where Shatner sees a gremlin on the wing of the plane, was a blast. It wasn't too long, Adam Scott killed it as a paranoiac, and the modernized hook for the central conflict was pretty cool.

A different writer for each episode means there will be varying quality. Episode 2 was good enough for me to keep going with the first season.

I'll give it another shot if I can find that episode.

Anthologies are often up and down.
