You're pretending that Republicans aren't a font of legislation targeting women's health services.
Or
Drag their heels and kick and scream when access and treatment of things like birth control pills are brought up.
Look, abortion is a sucky option, most of us can agree to that. It's also a private procedure between the doctor and the patient. Like any medical procedure should be.
So you can either attack abortion directly and let it be an easy ball for Democrats to rally behind or you legitimately change the conversation through:
Hitting welfare reform hard. Reorganize it away from the anyone with a headache gets disability and more towards the kids through funding projects just to make sure the kids are alright and avoiding giving money directly.
Untangle the mess that is adoption.
Surrogacy Legislation - let's have a good national debate about this. Get the rights of everyone involved sorted out.
Tying into surrogacy - parental issues like the woman wanting the abortion and the guy wanting a kid could be resolved. Of course you run into the "hostage situation" but that's what actual debate and legal frameworks can hammer out.
With the above we can take away the Republicans only care until you're out of the womb narrative.
We can solidify the option on the table.
Change the tactics or keep hitting the brick wall and then get fricked if the Democrats stuff the Supreme Court. Which again we can all agree is a shits fricked situation if that happens.

If you could find a way to reduce welfare, but increase funding for the foster care system and public defenders I'd be on board.
