I can't imagine what you are going through, I am close with my son and just can't fathom. Hold your wife, be there for each other. Reach out to clergy, friends, loved ones, and counselors; whoever you feel you need to to get through it.
Know that you have all of these people looking out for you and saying a prayer for you. I know you will be in my prayers. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need to vent.
