It's been stated fifty different times here.

Either Wade was dirty as an incoming hire and Alleva was negligent in the hire and remained negligently clueless during Wade's tenure, or Alleva is repeating the exact mistake he made at Duke sullying innocent folks and a successful program with catastrophic consequences.

As an aside, even if 100% guilty at this stage a competent AD would not preemptively act this way given the NCAA's history. You gain absolutely nothing! Has SeanMiller been suspended? Coach K? RoyWilliams? Anyone else?

No? Why?
Because Alleva is not their AD.

Any of those are reasons to fire the man.

OR...

...maybe...

Alleva did his due diligence in hiring Wade, he didn't turn up anything, Wade looked like a [promising young coach, and he was hired.

But what do you mean by "sullying innocent folks and a successful program with catastrophic consequences"? What has Alleva done?

What way? Word is the university president is the one who made the call to sit Wade down, not the AD.

It's looks like you're getting emotional. The best I can hope for is that through all this, the NCAA has a major change in the way recruits are handled, and LSU gets off with a light punishment and gets to keep Wade.

None of your 'reasoning' is rational, it's based on rumor, innuendo and emotion. Like I said, irrational.
