Wrong. It was a legal issue when Wade was subpoenaed to testify about a matter that involved somebody else being engaged in an unlawful activity. Once the FBI wiretap recording was released and there was evidence to suggest that their head basketball coach was in violation of NCAA bylaws, it was incumbent upon LSU to investigate the matter and exercise institutional control to protect the university from sanctions.
Many poeple believe there is evidence of the University of Alabama delivering money to a barber in Amite Louisiana for the purpose of directing kids he has influence over to commit to the Crimson Tide(in violation of NCAA bylaws). Do I possess said evidence? Nope, and nobody is screaming for Saban to be suspended pending an investigation.

Romeo langford
Also this get story how Langford stayed home to help the hometown Hoosiers which is being played every time they talk about Indiana getting in isn’t accurate either. Every time I hear a big name player I type in the name and fbi.. it’s amazing what’s being ignored.

I’m quite familiar with those rumors but what “evidence” is there? Let me know when somebody representing Alabama is caught on an FBI wiretap discussing the delivery of that money or better yet, when Saban himself is caught doing it. And by the way, the University of Alabama had no problem giving Bo Davis the option of resigning or being fired before the NCAA completed their investigation that he had impermissible contact with recruits which is pretty mundane compared to the accusations against Will Wade.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't thik the discussion of an offer the same as an admission of guilt. My point is there is as much evidence in both cases. Hearsay talking points. Now if you can track a paper trail or show the transfer of assets, then I'd concede.

Per ESPN:
"FBI wiretaps intercepted telephone conversations between Arizona coach Sean Miller and Christian Dawkins, a key figure in the FBI's investigation into college basketball corruption, in which Miller discussed paying $100,000 to ensure star freshman Deandre Ayton signed with the Wildcats, sources familiar with the government's evidence told ESPN."
Know what Sean Miller is doing currently? Coaching the University of Arizona's Men's Basketball team

Anyone assuming bad or good just shut up and wait. This could end up being nothing it could end up destroying our program for a while. Unless you know something we don’t, wait and see. I’m not optimistic about the situation, but that doesn’t mean I go around saying, LSU basketball will never be good again.

You're not wrong. But Death Row is full of men who maintain their innocence.

Not for long. And Miller gave a press conference and categorically denied the allegations at a press conference. Will Wade released a statement that he "cannot comment at this time" and refuses to speak with his superiors.
