It's a VR headset. Comes out April 12. The other sets are awesome, and I'm sure this will be at least as good and probably even better. I hope they implement some VR compatibility with some of their games with this.

The cardboard actually makes a lot of sense, and now that we've been using our kits for a while I can tell they put a lot of thought into that. The biggest boon to that is that it's extremely easy to replace or repair torn or broken pieces. You don't have to go out and buy another kit from Nintendo, which would be completely cost-prohibitive. We haven't had any issues yet, but most tears can simply be fixed with masking tape or duct tape.

Labo has been days of fun at my house. We got two kits at Christmas, and haven't even completed the first box yet. I don't get this much enjoyment out of most games. If you have kids who like to build things and explore, I think this is a must-have game.

720p and no strap for VR is going to be terrible.

720p for VR is rough, I'm sure it'll find a niche but at first glance it looks like its going to go the way of the virtual boy

Oh I'm sure it won't be replacing PSVR or anything, but I bet it won't even be close to as expensive either. My kids are going to love it.
