Isn't the free schooling Illegal Immigrants receive enough? Now we have to feed them also? At what point do we say enough is enough?

I get you, but I'm gonna feed a kid. The problem needs to be fixed and I'm not for breaking up families. I'd send all their asses back. Let them apply legally. But while they're here, the kids I'll take care of. The parents are own their own. And with school meals and backpack food and snacks...can't divert that. Not much of a black market for apples and shite. But it is correct to assume that "food stamp" money is being diverted and often the children are not fed. I'm against that and I support it being fixed, and I'm spending my money and my time.

I also think the gov't should have set prices on what they pay for certain goods. Bread is this much, milk-X amount. Medicare does it. Yet a grocery store in a low income area often has insanely high prices. Why? The people getting these benefits aren't very mobile, so they can't shop for the best price. So, the stores charge high arse prices and our gov't pays. It's fricking legal fraud. I'm for doing away with this shite and having food trucks go around and give out staples, fruits, veggies etc. You want nacho chips, little debbies and shite? Get it yourself. So not only does our system waste money and pay outrageous prices for these items (when it's not diverted for cash or other goods/services) it promotes obesity, heart disease, cancer, HTN etc increasing the medical needs for these people and costs. When's the last time you saw a Ethiopian with diabetes? Better to be a little skinny and have regular bowel movements (thanks to fiber in fruits and veggies) than to be a sickly fatass. Not to mention a boom for local farmers. Gets people what they need. It's healthy. Less lucrative and harder to divert. Helps agri. Makes us healthier. Only losers are those fricking the system.

I can respect this...

This is bullshite and Medicare is not really a good example to use for price controls and one could argue that Medicare price controls are part of the reason medical pricing is as fricked up as it is...

Transportation costs, lower volume buying, higher crime rate, etc are also reasons the prices are higher...

Ever heard of the commodity program? We had it, but it still had plenty of fraud, waste, and abuse...

Yep, with programs like the free and reduced lunch, especially when benefits are not reduced AND in many locales they even feed lunch during the summer, so basically year round double payment for the same child...
