Confessions - I'm a cheap person, I make decent money but will drive a piece of crap vehicle.
All the men in my family are this way, one of my uncles died worth 7-8 million and drove a piece of crap truck every day and had cow shite on his boots/pants legs daily.
I'll do simple stuff such as brakes, oil changes, spark plugs, wiring etc.

I try to do everything I can myself. Really the only thing that holds me back is access to a good work area.
Hopefully next year I can build a shop behind the house and get a 2 post lift. Then I can finally live the dream of doing stand up suspension work, oil changes, etc.
