re: John Wayne Airport and statue targeted for cleansing

Having a little fun with this. There are more than a few professional pilots on this forum who know more than I do on the topic, but one of the things I enjoy about flying is looking at the SIDs and STARs at various airports. The FAA incorporates local flair in the naming of the waypoints and intersections with five letter names on the approach plates for the various arrival and departure procedures at each airport.

For example, SNA has a STAR called the DSNEE 4 arrival procedure, which waypoints are designated as DISNEE, MCKYE, MOUSS, GOOFY. Plate for this arrival could be found here: LINK

If they rename the airport for DeRay, the STAR would have to be renamed the POWRR Four and the waypoints would have to be changed to be POWRR, LOOTT, BURNN, ACUSE.

If they rename it for MS-13, the STAR would have to be renamed the MURDR Four and the waypoints would have to be changed to be MURDR, RAAPE, TRAFIC, CARAVN.

If they rename it for Jussie, the STAR would have to be renamed the FRAUD Four and the waypoints would have to be changed to be FRAUD, NIGER, NOOSS, BLECH.

If they rename it for Hugo, the STAR would have to be renamed the MARXS Four and the waypoints would have to be changed to be MARXS, LENIN, CASRO, UTOPA.
