Skylar Mays should run the show.

I think Tremont should have the ball in his hands throughout the game, but in the important situations, Skylar should be the one running the show. He is just smarter with the ball in his hands, I mean the guy is our Vet player and is a med student with a 4.08 GPA.

I'd trust any of our 3 main guards with the ball tbh
Tremont Mays and javonte all made big shots this year

My thing is Mays will play unselfish with the game on the line, vs Tremont wanting to be the hero like tonight, after he played like dogshit all game.

Skyler cant make a layup. He has been practicing for 5 years now

They've all made big shots but Mays seems to be the only one that doesn't make boneheaded plays. His situational awareness is superior to the other two. Waters is obviously the best point guard and Javonte might have the best potential but Waters makes too many mental mistakes in crunch time and Javonte tries to force things too much. Mays is the guy to handle the ball with the game on the line.

All of this

Agreed. Mays will make the right play more times than not. Smart tries to force things too much. Waters panics at the end of the game and shoots from 30 feet.

Best "and one" layup maker on the team.

Literally gave us one to give us a last chance to come back

Mays is really smart, except when it comes to making the most basic play, a layup. I’m not talking about a layup in traffic, which he’s actually better at.
Honestly, I don’t trust anyone on a team that ties Florida in regulation at home, then proceeds to lose to that same team in overtime at home
Flip a coin, and let that man shoot. Same result most likely. Mays is not your basketball hero anymore than 6 or 7 other guys on the team

I think tonight, obviously, Mays should have been a more prioritized option. Until his first three late in the game, Tremont was a non factor outside of a few assists and the one steal where he saved the ball in bounds. I thought LSU played better when he was on the bench provided smart wasn’t clanking three pointers.
