I don't know if you ever been Brown-Stroud Field at NSU but the stadium are built on the side of a hill. Having a couple thousand people walking around and going up and down the hill is not a good idea.
Plus this game is a HUGE money game for NSU. They want to make sure they get their money.

Oh well. I'd rather them be wrong about the severe weather than be right about it just so we can say they made the right decision.
