It's a phenomenon I've never understood. Most of them eventually get found out for being the exact scum they preach against.
Jim and Tammy Faye Baker, Robert Tilton, Jimmy Swaggart et al have been duping gullible people out of their hard earned money for ages. And they live in opulence while their contributors, usually older folks, struggle to make ends meet.
If there is a hell, there is a special place reserved for these scum of the Earth individuals.
