I remember Sky Walker (his last game, I believe) going up and hugging Dale Brown. I always thought that was class.

This victory remains a top 3 LSU moment for me. You simply have to remember the context:

LSU lost twice to UK in the regular season - and once was to a 26ft TWO POINTER in the Assembly Center by Roger Harden as time expired.

THEN, the narrative was the only shot LSU had to get into the tourney was to win the SEC tourney...they came SUPER CLOSE, but lost their 3rd of the year in the SEC final to...KENTUCKY!! (I can still picture Derrick Taylor clutching his head with both hands in despair when the final buzzer sounded. I felt so bad for them.)

The Tigers snuck in with an 11 seed.

All of that set up the glorious 4th meeting for when it really mattered. My father and I stood in front of the TV the entire game with our arms around each other, jumping and screaming. I will never forget this for as long as I live.
