Yes, many bugs and reptiles haven't changed much in a very, very long time. But I hope you aren't basing your view of that baby bird on the artist's rendering. The actual specimen had a jaw with teeth, rather than a beak. It had claws on its wings. It was a dinosaur with feathers.
