I don't think so. I think Harris James has a history with Tom being they are both gay. Harris told Hayes that he had a good body. Maybe that is how he was able to get the boy's backpack to plant at Woodard's.

I'm hating that I am feeling like maybe Roland is complicit in some of the cover-up. I also am starting to buy into the Reddit theories that Roland might be bi-sexual, and possibly involved with Tom at some point.
I keep thinking about that night Tom spent on his couch after getting into the bar fight in 1980. Also, the fact that Roland never married and has no kids....
