I think there should be some rules to enter the transfer protocol.
1) The coach that recruited and coached you leaves or gets fired.
2) You’re a junior or senior that’s replaced by someone else
3) Someone in your Immediate family has a serious illness (must be documented)
4) graduate transfer
5) you decide to switch majors and your current school doesn’t offer this major (must already have a 3.0 GPA, good class attendance, need only 60 or less credits to pass new major)
6) if player doesn’t meet any of the above reasons and still insist on transferring the full reimbursement of all expenses the university incurred during that players time at university. (Tuition, meals, housing, books, travel, etc.....)
Otherwise stick to your word and honor your commitment. In real life there is consequences for breaking a written agreement.
