I think we would pay him 5 mil if we didn't have Stallworth.
Stallworth isn't as good at this point in his career, but he makes 573 k in 2019.

You might be right about that, but there's only so much money to spread around. In order for good teams to stay competitive and keep their core assets they have to have some guys on cheap contracts. That might mean making tough decisions and letting certain guys walk.
