Oh how Miss Lefty Stephanie Riegel loves her SJW. She has her man's back in the comments of the story.
quote:
Broderick was and is a high-profile community leader, effective and respected by many, myself included. He also has more than a few detractors. Whatever one may think of him, his departure from TBR is legitimate news and was covered as we would cover the departure of the leader of BRAC or BRAF or any other community organization. It has nothing to do with an "obsession" with TBR. I speak for myself, mind you, not some of the readers, who have posted vilifying comments on this page. If you're interested in how I have covered TBR and Broderick I invite you to read an indepth and thoughtful piece I wrote in 2018 on the organization, its history, effectiveness on Baton Rouge, where it was successful and perhaps where it was less so.

She’s not wrong. TBR HAS had an effect on Baton Rouge. A negative one that has Exxon on the brink of taking all their expansion plans across the Sabine. That and a governor that only sees industry as a source to milk additional taxes out of.
