You don't need to use cruise control to avoid being inconsiderate to other drivers. It's really pretty simple.
People who don't use cruise control inconvenience me by speeding up as I'm passing them, making me speed up, or slowing down in front of me, making me pass them.
If 95% of people driving on Interstate used their fricking cruise, you'd see an immediate improvement in traffic flow.
Plus, you get better gas mileage.

It's bullshite that without cruise control one cannot avoid being a dick to other drivers through very simple measures? You didn't even address any of my explanations that followed. All you did is point out that other drivers are idiots, which obviously is the underlying issue, not cruise control.

Yeah, no fricking shite, because that takes driving decisions away from the morons. Ipso facto, the problem is we have too many idiots and douchebags who can't follow basic driving procedures.
