Lucy’s body crashed two months ago, the week of thanksgiving, and spent 6 days/nights in the ICU. She was diagnosed with immune mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). It has been an expensive and stressful couple months, but she’s stable right now and we are beginning to taper her medication down. Big hopes she doesn’t relapse.

Here she is a few days before she went in.



A friend is a vet at LSU and sent this. A picture of her in the ICU on her 2nd to last night there.



A couple weeks after coming back home. Note the missing hair on her arm from the IV. It’s finally growing back in.



She’s a difffeernt dog now, personality wise. But I love her more than anything.
