That's true. But it is also a little like your parents giving you the money. My parents have not supported me in any real sense since I was 17. Kinda proud of that.

Sure. I think it's great. And kudos to your parents. All I am saying is that is more like getting a gift than saving money.

The stigma of living with parents is really around the amount of time. If you move back home for six months after college and work a "menial" job to sock away money while you apply and interview for careers, that's great.
But after a year, two years, and you are still at home with mommy and daddy, you are a loser.
