Check out South Carolina beaches like a Kiawah, Hilton Head, Fripp, or Harbor Island. Very natural settings with tons of wildlife.

South Carolina coast is great. We took a guided kayak trip through the Kiawah marshes.
The beaches/water aren’t what one would classify as “pretty.” But interesting coast if you’re there for more than that.
When I think “beach vacation” Hawaii and Florida are way ahead of anyone.
