A cheaper option that we used to use is the telescoping pool skimmers. Can pick one up for $20 at home depot. You can rig up a hook to the end of it to make sure the net doesn't slide off.

This is what I use. Rigged up a hook on the end to keep the nets on the pole.
You can do well in Sherburne but a 4 wheeler is definitely ideal. It’s a long walk if you don’t have one.
Little tip to make life easier- shower curtain hangers work well to keep the beef melt attached to the nets. Way easier than trying to tie every piece on.
There’s a lot of snakes in Sherburne when it heats but do not bring a gun to shoot them. Bring a machete. Guns are illegal in the wma after hunting season.
