He is absolutely correct. That game was lost in the first quarter by Payton or on that last series by Payton by throwing instead of running and forcing the Rams to start play with little to no time on the clock. The defense let them tie it. Brees threw a pick in Ot because of the pass rush in his face.
It is all part of the game and excuses. No one play determines the outcome of a game that went to OT. It is a culmination of everything you do.
