Deadhouse gates is my favorite of the series, I'd push through and see if it grabs you in the 2nd half of the story - if it doesn't you can probably stop reading as the series probably just isn't you kind of story.
Did you read Gardens of the Moon? Or just started with Deadhouse Gates?
