Not committed to a certain other SECW team. Had he done so, they'd be looking for a way to award him a 6th star.

Got beat too many times in All Star practices. Can find some examples on twitter searching his name. Will have to get his body in better shape and better lateral movement. Not hating....just things they saw and I agree. Of course still glad to have him

No one should give a damn how many stars Kardell has by his name. A blind man can see how good he is at football.
With that said- he was ok at the all star event. Not bad but not great. Saw a slight dip in his grade.

Also Kris Bogle, Amari Knight, Christian Williams, Tuas little brother and Bear Bryant’s grandson all fell in the rankings as well.

It was sarcasm, if not obvious, hence the 6th star remark. Recruiting ranks rise and fall. Been around long enough to understand that. Kardell is going to be an absolute monster for us. His star ranking doesn't bother me. I feel like he's underrated, just like I feel Ish is overrated. Stars are a sham anyway.

Kardell just has to improve his pass protection. Hes a mauler in the run game.

Just stop...bama's team composite ranking went up while LSU, A&M, Clemson's and others dropped. It's been discussed several times. Happens every year at this same time.

I must disagree on this, Vincent Van Brogh. Kardell is the top-rated OG in the country. Both of the last cycles' top-rated OG's were 5-stars, and the top-rated OG in next year's 2020 class is also a 5-star.
You sure Kardell shouldn't be a 5-star?
I see saban scorned that his little publicly stunt pitch to Kardell back several months failed to gain any traction whatsoever. And this is the price Kardell and LSU pays. Cereal.

He didn't have a great showing at the US Army AA game. He got beat on plays in practice. He was overweight and not as motivated as some people expected. He faired well in the game, but some just didn't think he was as good as advertised. They noted that he played in a lower division in HS ball and was only good because he was bigger and stronger. He'll be down to the right weight by the tie he gets to LSU and he will prove why he was a 5 star. These recruiting services are biased and a lot of stupidity. Most of these so called experts wouldn't know a good football player from a donkey if someone didn't tell them. One reason I don't put a lot of emphasis on them. Kendall McCallum is as good a LB as I have seen on the HS level, and they say he is a 3 star. Reason: He is from Alabama and Saban didn't offer. That tells these experts he isn't any good. They can't watch him play and make an accurate determination, because they are stupid in that area.

Too fat to keep up with elite DL right now. Needs to lose 30 pounds and do some agility drills. Not trying to be an arse just telling the truth.
