re: How many of you are really Native American?

Mom's grandmother was a quarter Choctaw. Was born out from Possum Neck, MS. My first cousins signed up for, and started receiving, benefits when they lived in OK. They live in Texas now and still shop at something like a PX on a reservation. My cousins wife has offered to help me apply for being able to receive some benefits, like the place they shop.

I'm a redheaded, freckle-faced, ginger.

The great grandmother I'm talking about lived to be 101.
