People get hung up on the overall numbers and don’t take into account that you can still have a great quality of life in those states.
Louisiana may have a higher percentage of dumb, poor, and fat people but none of that affects my day to day life.

My family is probably considered upper middle class or slightly higher. We don't live much differently in South Louisiana than similar people that I know in other states.
