Question about Marcel Brooks

Great athlete and will no doubt contribute to our team, but my question is where does he fit in? He doesn’t really have the size to be an outside linebacker immediately (I understand he can gain weight down the road), even though that’s where he’s projected to play. He was also ranked top 10 as a safety in the state of Texas so he is obviously very versatile. What are the chances he plays an in the box safety type of role?

Pretty sure he's gonna play backup to Delpit this year and play in the same exact role as Delpit when Delpit goes to the NFL.

He’s gonna be a DB. Think Delpit like Safety.

No he’s going to play Saftey, that Grant Delpit, Jacoby Steven position....

Will be used a lot like Delpit and some like Jacoby Stevens when we fills out a little bit.

Doesn’t necessarily reflect the position LSU views the as. Charles Turner is listed as OL when it has been stated he will start off as a TE

S/LB hybrid.
He's great for light LB packages and heavy S packages.

Aranda will find/create a position to take advantage of his superior skill-set to wreak havoc upon opposing QB's.
