Are the transfer rules the same as in the past, or is it now largely, immediate eligibility?
He's graduated from OU, so he's eligible to transfer out of conference and play immediately, or transfer within the conference and play now, if OU approves.

Kids shouldn't unintentionally, or intentionally, shift power and affect title races by punitive and emotional means, but rather true best self interests..which I suspect can and will become a factor in coming years with this new transfer policy at hand.
Yeah, let's let the NCAA determine what the best interests are for each individual player. Makes sense.

That's a broad stroke, I didn't say the NCAA needs broad powers.
I only suggest that a player not be able to just jump to an inter-conference team immediately, and possibly swing a conference race, without sitting a year.
Like for example, if Cam would've went from UF to Aub in an instant, without a Blinn stop, and be able to start immediately.
I think this new age is gonna have strange mutations in the years to come. Ole Miss to Mich defections(which were legit via program turmoil) may mutate on steroids.
