id take him in a heart beat. To take texas from where they where to beating Georgia in the sugar is impressive also while beating Oklahoma.
can't believe ppl would downvote this. He has no where near lsus talent and is doing well. Just because we didn't land him doesn't mean he can't coach.

Herman is a very good coach and has a totally different approach to the game offensively for sure. Herman is closer to Mullen in his approach, with a lead they start to press harder and harder, neither of them are content with running a conservative offense. When these coaches get into the red zone you have no idea what play they will run out of any formation.

If I have a negative comment towards the LSU staff it would be the RED ZONE offense or lack of offense. Coach O and coach E seem to content with protecting the opportunity of a field goal may be more important than scoring a touchdown.

If LSU is going to win championship coach O has to change the whole culture of the LSU offense and through my years of experience one thing always comes to mind, {people never really change}.

Quiet people are always quiet
Loud people are always loud
Gamblers always are gamblers
Cheaters always cheat
Conservative people are always conservative
Controling people always want to control

When the camera focuses on coach O when LSU is in the red zone he looks nervous instead of excited and I believe this spreads to the staff and the team.

Just my opinion
