It’s obvious he wants to come back. But it’s tough to turn down that financial stability for life. Im happy for him either way. And I’m happy for me if he comes back.

It's a gamble, but he isn't "turning it down". He could finish as the GOAT linebacker of all time at LSU, one of the best ever in college football if he wins the Butkus award again, and the money (or more) would still be there for him next year. He could also win a championship.
