So the special counsel is now incompetent?

No.

But wouldn't you have liked to avoid a criminal investigation of the president? Trump signed a letter of intent to take out hundreds of millions from a sanctioned Russian state bank during the campaign and lied about Russian connections repeatedly. Simply trusting candidates and the IRS is insufficient.

If we had a law like this we wouldn't have a Russian investigation.

What exactly is the end game here. Trump gets elected and turns over tax returns, then what?

You think tax returns would have stopped it? You serious?!?

Would we not be in a possible criminal investigation with Clinton over Uranium One and possible quid pro quo with Saudi Arabia over using her office for influencing approval of a weapons deal with the Saudis in exchange for “donations” to a foundation she partially owns?

If not.... why not? Because it’s not on her tax returns?

So we need to adopt a tax system that eliminates an incompetent IRS. Finally. Some agreement.

So we can’t trust experienced tax enforcement at the IRS and cannot trust the SC to prove what you allude to. So we give the documents over to Adam Schiff for a competent resolution? Are you listening to yourself?
