And Clemson has been running the same type of offense for years at that schools with different variations. The offensive players in that system know the offense front and back. The coaches at Clemson has had time to figure out what works and what doesn't work within their offense as well. They have confidence in what works and what doesn't.
That all has a significant impact on a teams ability to execute the plays called. LSU is in its first year of changing everything within the offense and we went 10-3. Give our offense the same time that Clemson has had and you will see the same type of execution. How did Clemson perform last year with the same coaches but different players who couldn't execute that offense in the same way they can this year? It wasn't close to the level it is this year.
Every year y'all want to change the offense or something within it. That hurts the team. Our coaches have shown that when the offense is clicking and the players are executing, that it can be a powerful offense. Look at the GA game and the UCF game. It's inconsistent because it's all new with new players. Give it time people.
