Ravens are moving on from Flacco and his huge contract. I think they would have cut Flacco a couple of years ago, but his contract made it impossible.
If Flacco would have gotten hurt, then the Ravens are screwed. I don’t think he was ever an option because getting out of his contract if he’s hurt becomes a whole lot harder.
