not a yankee but lived in CO for a little bit. Definitely get some brushes and ice scrapers to unbury your car. should go unsaid but make sure you have good gloves or gloves attached to said accessories. also consider a shovel for worst case scenarios. would also advice a change or warm clothes and blankets to be kept in car at all times.
