But it's bullshite that all schedules are not created equal. Do we really think Clemson is unbeatable? They played a shite schedule and were rewarded by playing Notre Dame, probably the worst team to ever make the CFB.

Yes Bama is the best team but Georiga was a top 4 team and didn't get in because they play in the SEC. I think 8 is the best number personally.

5 big conferences need to go to 12 teams.

Play everyone in the conference + one OOC game per year.

No conference championship game needed.

5 conference winners plus one at large make it to the playoffs.

Conference Champs with the best record get a bye. If there is more than 2, SOS is the determining factor.

This eliminates a majority of human opinion, eye test bullshite and makes it so the argument Is among teams for the last playoff spot that didn't win their conference, therefore, no one is truly -'jipped'
