I haven't really looked into the 2020 class much yet. Who would we rather end up with between Finley and Johnson?

Johnson is a better QB prospect imo

Johnson right now. Finley has the size and measurables, but has things to work on.

Going off O's comments about Maryland I expect LSU to land at least one kid from there if not more.

Several commits were listed by the OP, and this was one was originally missed. You took the simple request of an update for accuracy personally. OP appreciated the update request, if you follow the thread through.

Headlined by five-star cornerback Elias Ricks, a California native, the LSU coaching staff already has nine commitments for 2020, which gives them a No. 2 national ranking according to 247Sports.
"Next year is a great year for running backs around the country," Orgeron said Wednesday, and two five-star targets include the nation's No. 1 running back, Zachary Evans of North Shore High in Houston, and the No. 2 running back, Kendall Milton of Clovis, California.

There were six Louisiana players ranked within the top 120 recruits in 2019, according 247Sports' composite rankings, including Dunham cornerback Derek Stingley, the nation's No. 3 overall prospect.
In 2020, only one Louisiana player is within the top 120: Westgate High wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, the No. 66 overall recruit.

QB Haynes King TX-supposedly the staff is very high on him and we are kind of early. This one was today.
From my neck of the Piney Woods. Talk about the coach's son. Dude just has the "IT" factor.

LSU has two quarterback commitments for the 2020 recruiting class, but another Tigers quarterback offer was extended Wednesday to Longview (Texas) High School standout Haynes King, who is fresh off leading his team to the Texas Class 6A Division II state title and a 16-0 record.
In the past two seasons, King is 26-1 as a starter, having led Longview to the 2017 Texas Class 6A Division II state semifinals after taking over the starting job several games into his sophomore campaign. As a junior this past fall, he re-wrote Longview's passing record books as he led the Lobos to the 6A D-II state crown.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is young for his grade and just starting to grow into his tall, long frame. He finished his junior season with 3,877 passing yards, 42 touchdown throws, and only four interceptions, while rushing for 664 yards and eight TD's as he guided Longview to the state title. King is big-handed and owns a 4.68 laser 40 and a 4.08 verified shuttle, while also running the 400 meters, competing on Longview's 4x400 relay team, throwing the discus, and playing basketball.

The kid is a just a gamer and that might not hurt with that LA connection.. I know LSU has higher QB’s on the board but I’d like to see another East Texan like Hines on the roster.
