I have made multiple sales on CL.
Don't know that I have ever bought anything.

I always do the transaction at my home, outside and ask my neighbor to be on his porch as well.

I have never had an incident or have dealt w anyone like that. Some items just can not be shipped w-out huge effort and expense.

Do not do guns or jewelry FOR PURCHASE or SALE. I can see those being riskier. CL is just like any other place. The majority of people are OK, some are not.

educate yourself Darius. The actual instances of murder by cops is very, very, very low. There are tens of thousands of police all over the country in dangerous situations every day, and it's a very rare occurrance when a bad shooting occurs.

With a country of 320+ million people, you'll always find bad people in any profession, and the police isn't immune. But it's not systemic - it's a rogue individual. And it's exceedingly rare, and fully invesitgated and prosecuted when it does occur.
