--Actually, the Germans did not have enough or proper landing craft to invade England. That is one reason, the other being Goerring's collossal ego, that the Nazi's only fought the Battle of Britain in the air. No landing craft.
America, on the other hand, had a SHITE TON of landing craft, but that's another story.
