The wall was always going to be a bargaining chip. It will never get built. This doesn't surprise or bother me in the least.

My question is what happened to the trillion dollar infrastructure campaign promise?

Fear of Mexicans/ immigrants much more politically advantageous to Trump than the crumbling infrastructure he promised to upgrade.

He saved it for 2019 so he can get something accomplished with a split congress

there were a couple of trump promises I wanted.

One was revalue yuan. There was public furor on part of China when he brought it up and next thing you know, he's given it up on promise China will sit on north Korea and stop threatening us a and south Korea and Japan with nukes.

The other was infrastructure. How can any One be against it?
