Nope. Just live in a part of town where they are everywhere for 6 months now. Annoying as shite. Walk down a sidewalk where you have a pack of them coming your way or up from behind you. They expect you to get out of the way for them.
Look into the injuries on them. I have a co-worker who has been working from home, and had surgery on his arm from busting his arse on one. Hit a crack wrong.
Lady in dallas caught the front tire on the trolley tracks, and went face first into the road.
These accidents arent being recorded properly by emergency rooms, so "stats" arent showing this.
Imagine taking a turn on a road where you see no pedestrian, and you hit a guy on a scooter zipping on the sidewalk. Came out of no where after you committed to the turn. Will be the drivers fault. Or at least on his "non-insured motorist". I was talking to a guy at a bar that got hit like this. Dude in the car drove off, but he did admit it was his fault.
If you are ok with bikes on the roads/sidewalks then scooters will be fine with you. If you arent, or have some issues with it, then scooters will be the same.
