5 loss Miami, 5 loss Auburn, 4 loss Miss State......
This year’s schedule wasn’t much.

LSU has been in the top ten all year and they are number 11 right now. They are sniffing it right now and a win and they finish the year in the top ten. Need to improve and take the next step but people that are saying the O hire has been a disaster so far are ridiculous.
Can we at least wait until the final rankings are out? This is the equivalent of chest bumping “top ten wins against Miami and Auburn”. 5 loss Miami and 5 loss Auburn. Whoop de doo! If LSU losses bowl game, finishes 9-4 again, and ranked 15th in final poll, then what do you got?

2017
-JT Barrett after two failed previous years, threw for 3050 yards and 35 TDs 9 int, and ran for 800 and 12 TDs. Completed 65% of his passes
-true freshman backup QB threw for 565 yards and 4 TDs saving the day vs the #1 pass defense and top 5 pass defense in every major passing category. Completed 70% of his passes
-True freshman RB ran for 1400 yards at 7.2 ypc
2018
-First year starter threw for 4580 yards and 47 TDs 7 int, with 122 on the ground and 4 more TDs. Completed 70% of his passes
-two RBs with a shite tastic OL, ran for a combined 1890 yards and 14 TDs.
Ryan Day was not THE OC in '17 and '18. He was co-OC with Kevin Wilson (OC and co-OC at Oklahoma for 9 seasons). Day got all the credit (who knows why), but Wilson had the better bona fides - by far.
I like Day as an up and coming OC, but am not at all convinced he should start his HC training at Ohio State.

It's less about being guru on side of the ball
I disagree to a degree. IMHO a head coach needs to be just that, a guru on either side of the ball. Just think about who the most successful coaches are currently, they generally fit that description.
Conversely, we have a head coach that doesn't particularly know either side and is just standing on the sideline cheering during games.
