Well, he lost to 2 coaches in their first year with their schools and finished behind one of them in the West. This stuff about it's his first or second year doesn't play very well against that.

And he beat a coach who is also in his second year that played in the national championship game last season. A guy who played for the SEC championship this year. Must have been horrible for you.
